Privacy Policy

OpenStore Video Integration App ("we", "our", "us") provides video feed tools for merchants. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and delete data, including data obtained through Google/YouTube login and YouTube Data API services.

1. Data we collect

When a merchant connects YouTube through Google OAuth, we may collect:

• Basic account identifiers (for example channel ID and channel name).
• Video metadata selected for import, such as title, description, thumbnails, publish date, and playlist references.
• OAuth tokens required to access approved API endpoints.
• Operational logs and aggregated analytics related to app performance.

2. How we use data

• To import and synchronize merchant-selected YouTube video feeds.
• To render video widgets on storefront pages.
• To monitor service reliability, quota usage, and API errors.
• To provide support and troubleshoot merchant requests.

3. Data minimization and storage

• We store only the data needed to provide app functionality.
• OAuth credentials are encrypted at rest and in transit.
• We generally store metadata and embed references instead of full copies of third-party hosted videos.
• Access to sensitive data is restricted to authorized personnel with a business need.

4. Sharing and disclosure

• We do not sell Google user data.
• We do not share Google user data with third parties except as needed to operate the service (for example secure cloud infrastructure providers) or when legally required.
• Service providers are contractually required to protect data and use it only for authorized purposes.

5. Your choices and controls

• You can disconnect YouTube access at any time inside the app settings or by revoking access from your Google account permissions page.
• You can request deletion of connected-account data and imported metadata by contacting us at privacy@openstore.app.

6. Data retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When a merchant uninstalls the app or submits a deletion request, we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is legally required.

7. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

8. YouTube API Services notice

OpenStore Video Integration App uses YouTube API Services. By using YouTube integration in our app, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
